Setting up a serious security system?
This Dahua NVR is a beast.
It's the NVR5216-16P-EI model, brand new, original Dahua gear.
It handles up to 16 IP cameras, and it's got 16 PoE ports built right in, so you can power your cameras directly from the NVR—no extra injectors or switches needed.
It's got wizSense AI, which means smarter motion detection and object tracking.
Recording resolution goes all the way up to 2160p (4K) and it supports a bunch of formats like 12MP, 8MP, 1080p, you name it.
Compression is Smart H.265+/H.265, which saves hard drive space.
\n\nIt has two SATA III ports inside, each can handle up to 10TB drives (but the hard drives are NOT included, so you'll need to grab those separately).
Outputs are HDMI and VGA, so you can hook up a monitor.
The firmware is in English and can be updated.
You can view cameras on your iPhone, iPad, or Android using the Lechange app.
It's got tons of recording modes: manual, scheduled, motion, or IVS triggers.
3-year warranty from Dahua, which is solid.
Made in China, but Dahua is a top-tier brand.
If you're building a 16-camera setup and want AI features, this is the brain you need.
